Pt.2 Why your horse’s “bad behaviour” is never his/her fault

We love Dr. Steph @oncoursechiro and so does Titan! He was licking and chewing (happy horse signals) throughout his adjustment - when he wasn’t nuzzling Dr. Steph for snuggles and snacks. Dr. Steph is extremely kind, thorough and transparent with all her sessions, and we truly appreciate the time she took to properly assess and treat Titan!

Utilizing a properly trained equine professional can help you diagnose the root cause of those “bad behaviors” such as bucking, tossing of the head, kicking out, etc.

Turns out some weight changes over the winter had caused issues with saddle fit, resulting in pinch points. Those recent bucks were just Titan’s way of letting us know something just wasn’t “sitting right” with him.

Changes in diet paired with some new exercises recommended by Dr. Steph should see Titan back to peak operating condition in no time. And while Titan definitely won’t complain about larger meal portions, the extra workouts is a different story…
