About
Knight School Inc is a sports based empowerment organization specializing in Medieval arts and safety management. Born out of struggle, we exist to remove barriers to participation by creating inclusive, accessible, and engaging programs in spaces safe for all.
Jaclyn Ziemniak was the world's only female full contact jouster for ten years, and pioneering in a male dominated sport presented unique challenges and obstacles. When Jaclyn met fellow competitive jouster and professional knight Joshua Knowles she found an ally who stood with her and sought to reimagine knighthood as a welcoming experience for all.
Our founders united in shared purpose, changing knighthood forever.
Knight School Inc was created to provide access to the world's most exclusive club - being a Knight. Gone are the days requiring a royal patent proving noble birth, a suit of armor, and a mighty steed. We teach the same historical skills to modern-day participants utilizing safe and effective training methods and revamped and re-envisioned tools and weapons.
You can't be what you can't see, and at Knight School Inc we want everyone to see themselves as a Knight - a confident warrior capable of providing assistance in emergencies.
