Another "A Knight’s Tale" fun fact!
During filming, Heath Ledger actually knocked out one of his own teeth. In one of the jousting scenes, the lance broke in an unexpected way and hit him hard enough to chip his tooth — but he was so into the role that he kept going like nothing happened! Total knight energy.
